Mass Retailers and Wholesalers Specialize in Conservation-Performance Technologies
Oakland, CA, November 28, 2017
Magnation Water Technologies has partnered with DripWorks to expand the availability of water optimization technologies to over 500,000 catalog and online customers who are choosing drip irrigation for home and commercial gardens as well as agricultural applications to save water, time and money.

“Magnation is passionately dedicated to the paradigm shift in water productivity that leverages physics without a carbon footprint. Since 2008, we’ve led the way with 20,000 installations worldwide. We couldn’t be happier to partner with a powerhouse outlet like California-based DripWorks to accelerate distribution, as conservation and performance is the name of the game—and time is of the essence.”
~ Mike Jenzeh, Co-founder and CEO

DripWorks is the dependable source for quality drip irrigation kits and supplies in the Nation, focused on helping plants, crops and gardens thrive. Drip irrigation systems use 50% less water than conventional ones. Water is delivered slowly and steadily to a crop’s root zone, where it is needed most, and unlike overhead sprinklers, less water is lost to evaporation. Using less water means spending less money. In addition, drip irrigation systems usually operate at a lower pressure than other types of pressurized irrigation, reducing energy costs. With reduced utility bills, drip irrigation systems typically recover the cost of the initial investment within the first year or two.

DripWorks is pleased to offer Magnation water optimization devices to amplify the effectiveness of their drip irrigation kits which help customers grow healthier crops, plants and gardens while reducing maintenance issues from mineral scale buildup in irrigation lines, emitters and nozzles.

By expanding the availability of Magnation Water Technologies to DripWorks customers through their catalog or online store DripWorks.com, customers can realize the benefits of Magnation’s “rainlike water” to solve hard water issues like mineral scale buildup, save 20% water, and make better use of time and money for home gardening, commercial growing and agricultural applications.

Magnation’s Rainlike Water makes every drop count.

Soils and plants become vibrant and vigorous when it rains. As a rain drop falls, its molecules become smaller and invigorated with energized, life-giving qualities, amplifying nutrient uptake and plant vigor.

By emulating the physical forces that create this level of exceptional water quality, Magnation comes as close to natural rain water as possible. Easy to install and long lasting, Magnation systems are maintenance-free, chemical-free and energy-free—and leave zero by-products. Learn more about

Magnation Water Technology Explained

Saturday, November 14th, 2015

Magnation’s chemical-free, energy-free, and maintenance-free water treatment utilizes various principles of physics to reduce the atomic weight of minerals and de-gas water. The principles of physics include magnetism, Lorentz force, static mixing, vortexing, hydrodynamic cavitation and Venturi.

Water molecule clusters are busted apart and pulverized as they travel through Magation’s water system. After breaking down to smaller water molecule clusters, they are held in suspension, unable to coagulate or stick together. This is what makes Magnation’s water softer and easier to absorb. Energized and activated, Magnation’s Rainlike water is a life-giving boost.

This results in lowered surface tension and viscosity, friction-loss, improved water flow, scale and biofilm control (disrupts ability to build up), improved water infiltration and moisture retention in soils.

End results: improved water quality, less water consumption, less energy requirements, less chemicals and maintenance needed, improved mixing, productivity with higher yields and better plant and soil quality. All with zero by-products.

Agrifac and Magnation, Champions of Doing More with Less

Sunday, November 8th, 2015

Agrifac-with-Magnation

Magnation Water Technologies began with vision and faith of founders Mike and Stef Jenzeh to introduce revolutionary chemical-free water treatment to farmers in California in 2008, every day in between then and now has been dedicated to improving water quality and maximizing water productivity.

Seven years later in stage 2 of Mike’s European tour with Piet Regnerus of Magliv Corporation—Magnation’s EU distributor—both met yesterday with Peter Millenaar, the general director of Agrifac. Currently a leader in Europe for the manufacturing of spraying machines. They’ve accurately identified that the world needs more and more food the same way Magnation has identified the world needs more and more life-promoting rain like water, and are rising up to the challenge with innovative and efficient designs. This shared understanding makes Magnation and Agrifac both champions of doing more with less.

After thorough, Dutch-style data-based testing of Magnation’s Drift Control products, Agrifac has seen verifiable results showing improved spray quality with smaller droplets, less drift and wider angle spread to be able to lower the boom (thus reducing even more drift and increasing efficacy). This results in more coverage and drift reduction while improving speed—in essence, higher productivity.

“I parallel the innovative Dutch farming techniques to the way they bring value to the international soccer arena. Dutch coaching and strategy has undeniably produced many quality players for the Champions leagues. For example, FC Barcelona adopted advanced innovative systems created by the Dutch years ago, and have catapulted this football (soccer) club into the elite status. With this same attitude and integrity, the Dutch agricultural industry produce high-quality and high-quantity of yields per acre. They’re also one of the smallest impactors on carbon dioxide emissions. With heavy research and production of the highest varieties of seed potatoes in the world, this small country is a global leader in efficient productivity, similar to the Israelis with active openness and solution-oriented towards water quality and quantity in desert soils with their share of agricultural challenges. It’s the resourcefulness I admire, the kind that is paramount to a sustainable future.” says Mike Jenzeh.

Today, Mike and Piet kick off Agritechnica—the worlds largest Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Show in Hanover, Germany from November 10-14th, with preview days November 8-9th, with enthusiasm for a successful week. If you’re in the area, visit us at Booth B-25 to learn more about Magnation’s powerful tools for boosting productivity and a sustainable future of farming.

Road Trip around The Netherlands, Land of Water Technologies

Thursday, November 5th, 2015

It is a known fact that The Netherlands has a long and successful history of implementing forward-thinking water technologies. It was out of necessity—growing food and supporting life—that more land was created by moving the ocean over a bit to accommodate this quest for survival and thriving. This visionary clan of water engineers and scientists seem to have contributed to a ubiquitous presence around the planet. It may be of no coincidence that many of the distributors around the world that have aligned with Magnation Water Technologies are also Dutch.

Magnation’s CEO, Mike Jenzeh, happens to be en route to Hannover, Germany this week to exhibit the world’s largest agricultural machinery and equipment show: Agritechnica. While spending a few days in the motherland of water technologies with our European distributor, Piet Regnerus of Magliv Corporation, Mike and Piet had the fantastic opportunity to visit with several early adopter customers of Magnation’s water-intelligent technologies.

Check out some of these great images of professional soccer clubs using Magnation’s systems—PSV Eindhoven and and SC Heerenveen. The Philips Stadion is a soccer stadium in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and is the home of PSV (Philips Sport Vereniging). With a capacity of 35,000, it is the third-largest football stadium in the country.

Also the soccer club SC Heerenveen in Friesland demonstrates its leadership in adopting Magnation’s turf-boosting clean and green technology for superior turf.

In addition to supporting the health and vitality of sports turf in The Netherlands, Magnation systems can also be found keeping golf courses green and thriving. One extremely visible example of Magnation at work can be found at the highly reputable and elite Golf club, The International, near Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. The renowned course has been using Magnation systems for the past year with excellent results and data to prove it.

According to Ron le Boulanger, who in collaboration with head greens-keeper Nico Burns, has conducted the data testing of the turf at The International course,  “When I was first told about magnetized spraying fluid for better leaf coverage and faster absorption, I didn’t believe it. But after testing it, it was all clear to me. Magnation’s Drift Control really works fabulously! The boom side with treated spraying fluid had a 10-15cm wider spraying pattern than the control side of the boom. Also, absorption was visibly faster with Drift Control. Drift Control can save us pesticide costs and lower the environmental damage.”

This visual comparison of their golf course says it all:

Magnation is currently in the process of helping The International get “Geo certification”—An an eco type of certification in The Netherlands for reducing Co2 omissions and toxic inputs such as fungicides.

Seasun_Magnation_FB

Moving over into the agriculture realm, Mike and Piet met with Wim Gresnigt, managing director of Seasun, a leading greenhouse producer of tomatoes and paprika. Seasun, located in Kapelle in Zeeland, in the southwest domain of The Netherlands, has a greenhouse facility of over 50 hectares. After testing Magnation’s water system using a tds and ec meter, results were as follows:

TDS 2.24 treated with Magnation 2.37
EC 5.24 treated with Magnation 5.37

According to Wim, Magnation reduces the amount of fertilizer needed.

How Magnation’s Innovative Water Systems Help Organic Growers with a Variety of Challenges

Thursday, October 1st, 2015

Magnation-For-Organic-FarmingIn spite of the worst drought California has seen in centuries, statistics from the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) organization, indicate that organic farming is currently booming in the Golden State, with a significant increase in certified organic farms over the past several years. Since 2010, the CCOF has expanded by over 1.5 million acres—that’s 2,343 square miles—of certified organic land.

How organic growers are not only weathering this water crisis, but also thriving during this time, is worth some exploration. Part of the answer lies with the alternative farming methods that organic growers employ. Using heavy mulches to reduce evaporation from the soil surface, better soil contouring, which reduces unintended runoff and also helps reduce erosion, and the use of artificial swales, (small depressions in the land designed to capture runoff and increase water infiltration) are some of the procedures used in organic farming to lessen the amount of water needed to grow healthy crops.

But in addition to these inventive organic farming methods, an increasing number of farmers are integrating a simple, innovative, non-chemical water treatment solution with their irrigation systems. It reduces the amount of water needed, helps keep moisture levels high in soil, and enhances the health and vitality of crops. According to the growers, themselves, this method of treating irrigation water is extremely effective in addressing a variety of issues that are challenging conventional and organic farmers. The solution is called Magnation Water Technologies.

Seed Maximizer™ Promotes Better Root Structure, Better Yields

Tuesday, April 21st, 2015
Magnation unit testing by Scott Borman and Green Valley Farms, Harvest Year: 2014

Mike,
I am writing this to let you know the testing results of the magnation unit.  I put a 6″ flanged Magnation unit on the bottom of a trash can and ran our corn seed and soybean seed through the unit right before it went into the planter.  Here are the results of my findings.

Corn:  I didn’t see any difference in emergence time, but  I did notice the plants on the 8 treated rows were a little taller.  During the growing season we would scout the field and see if I noticed any difference.  Didn’t notice much difference through the growing season, but when you get 30″ plus of rain it’s pretty hard to see a difference out there.

In doing some root digs in various spots on this 80 acre piece of ground I noticed that the root mass was bigger on the seed that was magnetized compared to the one that wasn’t.  Lets fast forward to harvest.  Picked 8 rows of treated seed and weighed it and picked 8 rows of non-treated.  We picked up a little shy of 1/2 a bushel and acre just by running the seed through the Magnation unit.  This was not just in one spot of the field.  We checked multiple times and we were right in that 1/2 bushel an acre increase.  I also noticed the stalk quality was better on the treated plant than the untreated.

So in my conclusion on running corn seed through Magnation’s units is this…  If you have purchased a unit for irrigation, you just as well utilize it on your seed to get more bang for your buck and have healthier plants.

Soybeans:  We treated the soybeans the same.  Ran one box through the Magnation unit and just dumped one box into the planter.  Side by side on about 95 acres.  My planter operator didn’t flag where he started at, so test was kind of non-determined.  But, the neighbor who bought a Magnation unit ran his soybeans through the Magnation unit and did a side by side.  Pulled some plants and noticed more root nodules than the untreated seed.  Probably double than the untreated.  This brings us to harvest.  There was a 3.3 bushels to the acre increase just by running the soybean seed through the Magnation unit.

Sprayer:  I put a 2″ unit on my John Deere sprayer. Sprayed my 32% on the corn ground, sprayed a pre-emerge on the beans. Sprayed my herbicide and glyphosate on the corn when it was 6″ tall. Then sprayed beans with glyphosate and foliar blend. Results are this: There are a lot of variables in spraying… wind, heat, humidity and water.  I mixed no ams [ammonium sulfate] in my spray and noticed the best weed control I have seen.  I sprayed some Volunteer corn on a Friday at 12 in the afternoon and by 9 am the next day it was turning silver and dying—a positive thing when it happens so quickly.  Also when spraying I noticed the tank mix that I was spraying wasn’t drifting.  I could run faster with more pressure less drift covering more acres.”

Thanks for a great product to help increase my bottom line on our farming operation.  Cannot wait to do some more experiments with it this next year.

Thanks again,
Scott Borman

Higher Yields with Magnation

Another Nebraska Farmer writes:

“Our results have been remarkable. Where we installed the Magnation unit, the corn out-yielded our other irrigated corn but used 30% less irrigation water. The corn was 11% better than that fields previous best yield, there was noticeably better uniformity across the sprinklers on the pivot, and our pumping costs were lower. ”  ~ Lee Fintel, Superior, NE

The map above is a yield map taken from Mr. Fintel’s combine monitor in Superior, Nebraska. The red box indicates where the testing took place, at a diagonal angle to assure the data was specific to this test. Every other row was treated with Magnation’s Seed Maximizer. 6.29 acres was treated, and 6.29 acres was untreated. The green is the higher yield, the yellow the lower yield. Untreated seeds yielded 55.1 bushels an acre. The Magnation-treated seeds yielded 58.58 bushels an acre. Magnation boosted 3.48 extra bushels per acre. Currently soybeans are $9.50 a bushel, earning an extra $33.06 an acre.

Golf Course Superintendent Saves 2.5 Million Gallons Per Month with Magnation

Monday, April 13th, 2015
My name is Dean Piller, Member of the GCSAA for 25 years.  I am the Superintendent of the Cordova Bay Golf Course in Victoria, British Columbia and Past Past President of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association.  I read with interest an article about the water restrictions and serious drought facing California.  Two years ago I began doing research on the Magnation product line that has the ability to reduce irrigation requirements for turf and agriculture crops by up to 25%.  We have installed pump station magnets on both of my golf courses with noticeable results.  Last summer, in one of the hottest and driest summers on record our irrigation daily run times were 80,000 gallons less per night equating to 2.5 million gallons per month.
Sincerely,
Dean Piller
