COOLING TOWER EVAPORATION CREDITS

Cooling towers use significant amounts of water, as they dissipate heat from recirculating water used to cool chillers, air conditioners, or other process equipment to the ambient air. Heat is emitted into the environment from cooling towers through the process of evaporation.

Solve Mineral Scale, Rust, and Corrosion in Pipes with Physics

Hard water scale problems in HVAC systems dramatically increase operating costs due to a wide range of factors. For example, a 1/8-inch thick layer of scale insulates heat transfer surfaces and causes a 20% to 25% loss of efficiency in boiler performance.
